I sampled the Huntress just due to the name, I definitely won the musical lottery quick pick. What a amazing find, It has it all great lyrics and vocals, killer psychedelic sound and some doom elements tossed in for a bonus. Reminds me of Mastodon, Elder and a more psychedelic version of Khemmis. abnormal_listening_habits

You had me at Dale Crover. Being a big Melvins fan, I'm always interested in any projects their involved with. So I came for the Dale, but stayed for the beautiful music these two Mexico based musicians have created. It's heavy and calm at the same time. This is metal for chillin' or taking long walks in the woods. The Goon
On their debut record, the London hardcore upstarts cross-up mosh-ready fare with melancholic ambient passages, weeping guitars, and virtuosic vocal harmonies, but its romantic veneer is much more complicated than it seems. Bandcamp Album of the Day Jan 30, 2019
Brutal, battering industrial music from this Austin, TX, group rolls in like a thundercloud—pitch-black and threatening. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 8, 2016

I probably would've missed out on this had it not been for my subscription to magnetic eye records (you really should subscribe). This is for doom lovers, yes, but it's much more than the standard issue doom that often pushes casual listeners away. This album is emotional, heavy, and clear in its efforts to engage the listener and keep you hooked. Special shout out for the production which places the fantastic bass playing right where you can actually hear it. Highly recommended! Wxmaggot
